We have teamed up with Richmondshire Leisure trust and introduced the well established Burst Holiday Camp here at Catterick Leisure Centre. Burst offers OFSTED registered full day care for 5-13 year olds on either a daily or weekly basis during the main school holiday periods right through the year.
With a comprehensive range of sports, leisure and art and craft activities mixed up with external visits and attractions and a little bit of quiet time too, you can rest assured that your children are occupied and having fun every minute they are in our care.

Our superb six court Sports Hall is home to an excellent range of junior coaching opportunities for children. Most of our junior Starz coaching programs run for 5 lots of 10 week terms each year. You can pay for each session individually, or take advantage of our excellent value block booking options. Our team of friendly qualified and CRB checked male and female football, basketball, gymnastics and trampoline coaches offer junior Starz coaching for a variety of age groups from 4 to 14 right through the week. Each 10 week block includes fitness, skills and team play sessions where applicable, with certificates and prizes at the end of every term. Every weekend, there is our great fun Saturday Club which is a multi sport coaching session– just the way to kick start a healthy, fun filled weekend.

Soccer coaching by age group, for boys and girls aged 4-12 years. Our fully qualified FA Coach, David Pritchard and his team will teach you all the skills and drills and at the end of the course you will receive a FREE certificate. Courses last 10 weeks and we offer special rates for all our junior members. Soccer stars takes place on a Monday from 4.30-6.30pm

Welcome to Swim Starz Swimming Lessons
We are very proud of our popular Swim Starz programme, and here’s why!
With up to 60 classes a week, we’re bound to have a class to suit your busy lifestyle. We offer lessons for all ages and abilities ranging from our Aqua Tots, which is designed for children under 4 through to our Adult lessons. Our lessons are great value too at only £48.00 for a 12 week term.
Our Welcome Pack includes details of the full year’s term dates and enrolments, payment options and an easy to understand guide to our programme so that you can follow your child’s progress through the Scheme.
The Swim Starz scheme operates in partnership with the swimming governing body, the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and all Swim Starz lessons adhere to the new ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of tuition and customer service. Watch your children learn and progress through the scheme collecting badges and certificates on the way. We have a number of exit options for the children when they outgrow the lessons or want to try something different, such as the Richmond Dales Swimming Club and the Catterick Cobra’s Water Polo club who both have residency at Catterick Leisure Centre.
Our fantastic Swim Starz teachers are all ASA qualified and attend regular training courses as part of their continuing professional development to keep them up to date with the very latest swimming trends and methods.

We want you to have the best birthday ever with us, so in addition to great value prices, a superb FREE Party Pack, and the very latest equipment, we also provide our very own Starz - your Party Starz hosts who are there to make sure you have a fantastic time.
We have 3 party options:
- Mini-Starz Pool Party for Under 8’s, lots of floats, games, toys and fun. Perfect for non-swimmers, an hour of fun and games in the pool
- Wet ‘n’ wild Pool Party for Over 8’s, Pool Inflatable with lots of floats and rafts, an action packed hour in the pool
- Bouncy Castle/Sports Party for all ages, Bouncy Castle, Soft Play, Ball Games and Table Tennis, a mixed fun & games hour in the sports hall.
All Parties are followed by 1 hour in the meeting room where we will provide an area for food, Nintendo Wii, Table Tennis and free Juice.
Leo the Lion is available upon request to play games and deliver your Birthday Cake.
You can book your party Starz party either over the phone or in person. A 50% deposit secures your booking, and you'll need to pay the balance of the party seven days before. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash and cheque payments. We'll send you confirmation including your invitations. On the day of your party you will receive party bags for all the kids and a birthday card for the birthday Boy/Girl. We'll show your guests to your party area or changing rooms as they arrive and all our staff are fully CRB checked for your piece of mind.
